When to consider resin
Resin is an option for detailed models and small parts. Tell us whether the result is for display, assembly or another purpose. Resin properties vary; we will need to confirm suitability for your intended use.
How the estimate works
Resin orders have a £10 minimum, including £10 setup per order, plus £0.45 per estimated printing hour. The current estimator adds no separate resin material charge. Final pricing follows a file review, with delivery and any applicable tax quoted separately.
Understanding the provisional time
The online estimate assumes 0.05 mm layers, eight seconds per layer and a 15-minute allowance per part. It uses model height, so orientation, supports and grouping parts into a batch can change the actual time. Filament infill and layer settings do not apply to this estimate.
Planning the finished model
Flag visible surfaces, tiny features and mating parts. Supports can leave marks, and hollow models need a suitable drainage and cleaning plan. Ask about your required finish and any sample before committing to a larger run.
